1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing HoopLiga, creating an account, joining activities, publishing content, or using the store, users agree to these Terms of Use and the other published policies.
2. Account eligibility
Users must provide accurate information and use HoopLiga only for lawful purposes. A user may not create an account for another person without authority.
3. Account responsibility
- Protect login credentials.
- Promptly report unauthorized account use.
- Keep profile and contact information reasonably accurate.
- Accept responsibility for activity made through the account.
4. Basketball participation
Players, coaches, commissioners, teams, and organizers must follow applicable game, tournament, venue, safety, eligibility, and disciplinary rules.
HoopLiga records may be corrected when reliable evidence establishes an error. Manipulating scores, results, schedules, rankings, XP, statistics, or player eligibility is prohibited.
5. User content
Users retain ownership of their original content. By submitting content, users grant HoopLiga a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service.
Users represent that they own the content or have sufficient permission to publish it.
6. Prohibited activity
- Fraud, scams, or impersonation.
- Cheating or manipulating games, votes, rankings, traffic, XP, views, or statistics.
- Hacking, malware, automated abuse, scraping, or interference with the website.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination, or unlawful disclosure of private information.
- Illegal, infringing, sexually exploitative, or dangerously misleading content.
- Artificial advertisement clicks, impressions, or engagement.
7. Store transactions
Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, prices, availability, and fulfillment information. Buyers must provide accurate order and delivery details.
Refunds, cancellations, returns, warranties, and complaints are subject to applicable Philippine consumer law and the disclosed terms of the transaction.
8. Suspension and termination
HoopLiga may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, cancel participation, or permanently terminate access when reasonably necessary for safety, rule enforcement, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the community.
9. Service availability
HoopLiga may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Maintenance, technical errors, internet failures, third-party services, or events beyond reasonable control may affect availability.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without limiting any mandatory consumer or privacy rights.
