Child and Minor Safety Policy

Rules protecting children and young players using or appearing on HoopLiga.

1. Zero tolerance for exploitation

HoopLiga prohibits child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualization, trafficking, solicitation, exploitation, or attempts to obtain sexual content from a minor.

2. Supervision and consent

Parents, legal guardians, coaches, commissioners, and organizers should ensure appropriate permission and supervision for minors participating in games, profiles, interviews, photos, videos, contests, or prize activities.

3. Protecting identifying information

Users should not publicly disclose a minorโ€™s precise home address, private phone number, school schedule, live location, identification documents, passwords, or other information that could create a safety risk.

4. Images and videos of minors

Images and videos must be respectful, related to legitimate basketball or community activities, and published with appropriate authority. Content may be removed when consent is disputed or safety concerns arise.

5. Private communication

Adults must not use HoopLiga to pursue secret, sexual, coercive, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate communication with minors.

6. Reporting

Suspected exploitation, grooming, or immediate danger should be reported promptly to HoopLiga administration and the appropriate Philippine law-enforcement or child-protection authority.

HoopLiga may immediately preserve evidence, restrict accounts, remove content, and cooperate with lawful investigations.
